John Galusha Grow Marcy the son of John H. Marcy and Charlotte Furnham, was born 20 Feb 1858 at Carbondale, Pennsylvania. He died 23 Mar 1915 at Excelsior Springs, Missouri. He married Ella Elfirda Doerschleg on 26 May 1887, the daughter of Eduardo Morgan Doerschleg and Agnes Marie Westphal. They were the parents of 7 children. Descendants have lived mostly in Kansas and New Mexico.

Joseph Snider, son of Jacob Snider, Sr. and Margaret, was born in Maryland or Virginia. He married Catherine Riner in 1792, daughter of Henry Riner and Elizabeth Henry, in 1792. They had four children. He married Catherine Evah, daughter of Jacob Evah, in 1799 in Providence Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. They had eight children.
