Orlando Anthony Doane was born January 9, 1829 in Jefferson County, New York. He married Sarah Jane Jones, daughter of Stephen and Sarah Jones, between November 30 and December 5, 1850 in Lorain County, Ohio. She was born May 11, 1832 in Genesee County, New York. They had 10 children. Ancestors and descendants lived mainly in England, Massachusetts, New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Wisconsin, and Ohio.
