Henry Hager emigrated, with his uncle Johan Frederick Hager, from the Palatinate of Germany to Albany (later Schoharie) County, New York in 1709. Henry served in the French and Indian war and, with his son Jacob, served in the Revolutionary War--he died after 1782. Descendants lived in New York, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, California and elsewhere.

She was born 14 May 1852 in Koszelitzki, West Prussia and died 15 Nov 1935 in Beatrice, Nebraska. There were the parents of eight children. They immigrated to the United States in 1888. Jean Charlebois was born in 1656, the son of Anthoine and Marie Dosque Charlebois of St. Andre-du-Bois, France. He joined the military company of Marquis Cisafy that was sent to Quebec in 1684. Thomas Fortune (1821-1900), a son of Garrett and Elizabeth Fortune, immigrated from Balleygarrett, Wexford County, Ireland to Ogdensberg, New York in 1848; he immigrated chiefly because of the potato famine. John Dolan (1777-1875) married Mary McGovern about 1815, and immigrated from Ireland to New York in 1855, moving later to Pennsylvania and Illinois and in 1855 settling at Chatfield, Minnesota. Descendants lived in Minnesota, Indiana, Mississippi and elsewhere.

Thomas H. Dolane, son of Henry Dolan and Catherine, was born 21 December 1824 in Dover, New Jersey. He married Adaline Amelia Stilwell (1828-1892), daughter of William Stilwell and Sarah Sands, in about 1852. They had four children. He died 6 July 1894 in Brooklyn, New York. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York.
