Description
William Samuel Rogers, son of Williamson Rogers and Merial Caroline Adams, was born in 1846 in Muscogee County, Georgia. He served in the Confederate Army in the Civil War. He married Mary Edna Gary, daughter of Abner Mitchell Gary and Elizabeth Emberson, in 1870 in Barbour County, Alabama. They had ten children.

John Dowell was born in about 1765 in Maryland. His parents were Richard MacDowell and Elizabeth Hopkins. He married Molly in about 1783 and they had ten children. He died in 1812 in Albemarle County, Virginia. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Barbados, Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky and Nebraska.

Andrew Lewis Speakman was born 2 June 1850 near Leo, Jackson County, Ohio to James and Malinda Rutherford Speakman. He married Emma Speakman (not related) ca. 1872. She died soon after the birth of her son, William Thurman who was born 23 Nov 1874. He married Clarinda Gatten (1858-1949) in 1875. Andrew died in 1912 and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Leo, Ohio. Ancestor Thomas Speakman, descendant of William Spikeman (Speakman) (abt. 1650-1706)...

John Ables (Abless) was born Jan. 1, 1780 in Amsterdam, Holland. John came to America as a child, leaving Holland in 1783 and landing alone in Philadelphia in 1784. It is not known whether his mother departed with him and his father. It also appears that his father did not complete the journey.
