James Bishop (ca. 1625-1691) emigrated from Surrey or Kent County, England, settled first in Massachusetts, and eventually settled at New Haven, Connecticut. Most volumes contain a different Bishop immigrant (as listed in the contents note below), and as many of his descendants and relatives as possible. Henry James (Harry) Doolittle (1864-1942) was born in Racine, Wisconsin. He was the second child and the only son of Anson Ormus Doolittle and Elizabeth Starr Jones. He lived in New York City, Charles City, Iowa, California, Utah etc. He married (1) 1890 Josephine Anderson (1872-1902) in Riverside, Calif.; (2) 1906 Madge Turley (1886-1975) of Dixie, Washington Co., Utah.

Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of Abraham Doolittle who was born ca. 1619 in England. He married Joane Allen and immigrated to America ca. 1640. They first landed in Boston but later moved to New Haven, Connecticut sometime prior to the year 1642. Abraham married a second time and died 11 August 1690 in Wallingford, Connecticut. He was the father of six known children. Descendants lived primarily in Connecticut.

Descendants of John Bigelow who was born in Wrentham County, Suffolk, England. He immigrated to America in 1630 and settled in Watertown, Massachusetts where married Mary Warren.

Henry married Margaret Elizabeth Degnan ca. 1877 and prior to 1880, they moved to Lake Co., Colorado. Descendants lived primarily in Colorado, Utah and elsewhere.

Robert Dawson, of English parentage, settled in Foxton, East Haven Township, Connecticut, in 1683. The name of his first wife is unknown. She had one son, John, born in 1677. He married second, a widow, Hannah Russell. They had a son, Thomas, about 1687. Robert died about 1718. Descendants lived in Connecticut, New York, and elsewhere.
