Edward Darcy/Dorsey was living in Norfolk County, Virginia, by 1642. He moved to Anne Arundel County, Maryland, in 1650. He and his wife, Ann, had at least three sons and a daughter. He was drowned in 1659 off the Isle of Kent. Descendants lived in Maryland and elsewhere.
Includes the Howard, Wyatt, Ridgely, and other related families.

James McHenry (ca. 1753-1816), son of Daniel McHenry (1725-1782) immigrated to America in 1771 from Ireland. He married Margaret Caldwell and died in Baltimore, Maryland. Descendants lived in Maryland and elsewhere. Includes information James Dorsey, slave of William Waller, who married Susan, who worked for the McHenry's.

Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of Charles Dorsey who was born 6 April 1760 in Maryland. He was the son of Aquilla Dorsey and a descendant of Edward Dorsey who immigrated to America from Hockley, England ca. 1650. Charles married Elizabeth Anchors ca. 1783. They lived in Ohio and were the parents of four sons and six daughters. Descendants lived in Maryland, Ohio, Illinois and elsewhere.
