Anson Martin Sperry was born 22 August 1836 in Claremont. His parents were Bela Jarvis Sperry and Matilda Dow. He married Thyrza Rebecca Garrison (1838-1905), daughter of Sam Garrison and Sally, 11 October 1868. They had ten children. He died 19 April 1916 in Wasioja, Minnesota.

David Maxwell, son of Alexander Maxwell (1791-1859) and Janet Chalmers (1790-1847) lived in Scotland and London, Portsmouth, and Hull, England. He married Mary Dow.
