Obediah and Margaret Pritchett were married about 1710 in Maryland. They had at least three sons, Samuel, Obediah, and James whose descendants are traced in this volume. At least one branch of this family was converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and came west about 1860. Today descendants live in Utah, Idaho, Indiana, Missouri, and elsewhere.

Peter Gunnarson Rambo, son of Gunnar Petersson, was born in about 1612 in Hisingen, Sweden. He came to America in 1640 and settled in Christiana, New Sweden (now Delaware).
