William Davis, parents not listed, was born 26 Jan 1783 in Hardy, Massachusetts. He married Lucy Hurlburt, parents not listed, about 1805 in Massachusetts. They had 14 children. Lucy died 24 Aug 1852 in Livingston County, Michigan. William also died there on 18 Feb 1853. Their descendants have lived in Michigan, Nebraska, Iowa, California, and other areas in the United States.

Mareen DuVall, a Jacobite, was brought to Maryland in the 1650's and served a period of indentureship. By 1859 he had completed his period of service and applied for land as a freeholder. He married three or four times and was the father of twelve children. He died in 1694. Descendants lived in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and elsewhere.
