William Aiken and his family emigrated for County Antrim, Ireland, in 1775 and settled in Pennsylvania. He served for the Chester County Miltia during the Revolutionary War. He and his wife were the parents of at least four children. He died probably near Jackson's Creek, Fairfield District, South Carolina, in 1783. Johannes Risch was born in 1646 in Idar, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. He married Anna Margaretha Becker (1651-1728). His grandson, Johan Karl Risch, aka Charles Rush, was born in 1725.
