Michael Riordan was born 31 January 1840, in Inishannon, County Cork, Ireland, son of John & Ellen Riordan, died 1923. He married 5 Feb., 1878, Catherine Mills, born 1860 and died 1944. She was the daughter of James Mills and Ann Kelly. Eleven children were born of this marriage. Descendants are located primarily in Australia. Includes Eakin, Heyes, Mills, Parnell, Simon and other related families.

William Blaylock (b. 1789) and John Blaylock (b. 1802) were born in Virginia. They both married in Butler Co., Ohio in the 1820's. Both moved to Indiana. Descendants spread throughout the midwest and into the northwest. Includes Beauchamp, Eakin, Gabbert, Leonard, Ordway, Reynolds, and other allied families.
