Gottlieb Friedrich Eckert (1828-1900) was born in Altbach, Wurttemberg, Germany. He married Caroline Zimmermann (1824-1895) ca. 1853 in Germany. They immigrated to Baltimore in the mid-19th century. Both eventually died in Baltimore. Descendants lived in Maryland and elsewhere.

Heinrich Zimmermann, Jr. (1673-ca.1749), son of Heinrich Zimmermann Sr. and Anna Morgert, immigrated in 1706 from Switzerland to Germantown, Pennsylvania. The surname was anglicized to Carpenter, and the family moved to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 1710. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio and elsewhere.

He was a descendant of John Conrad Eckert (born 6 February 1740 in Langenselbold, Germany) who immigrated to America ca. 1770 and settled in the state of Pennsylvania. William marriedFianna Mohler 25 May 1882. They lived in Pennsylvania and were the parents of four known children. Descendants lived primarily in Pennsylvania.

Peter Hanson, son of Hans Svensson and Olue Persdotter, was born in 1822 in Kristianstad, Skane, Sweden. He married Karna Mansdotter Monson (1827-1903), daughter of Mans Lustig and Sissa Hakansdotter, in 1846. They had eight children. They emigrated and settled in Iowa. He died in 1889.
