Marcus Lafayette Hasty was born in about 1790 in South Carolina. He married Nancy Barnett and they had two known sons. He married Nancy Arminda Jones 29 August 1830. They had five children. He died in 1862 in Jasper, Georgia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Georgia.

Matthew Williams was born probably between 1605 and 1622 in England or Wales. He died between 1654 and 1659. He probably married (1) Elizabeth Conant and (2) Susannah Cole in Wethersfield, Connecticut. Descendants lived in Connecticut, New Jersey, Ontario, and throughout the U.S.

John Ogden was born in Bradley Plain, Hampshire, England, 19 Sept. 1609. He married Jane Bond, daughter of Jonathan Bond, 8 May 1637 in Bradley Plain. Their three oldest children were born in England. He and his family emigrated to America settling at Southampton, Long Island in 1640.
