Don Wilton (1931- ) was born in Ohio and married Nanci Marie Jones (1935- ) in 1957. They became the parents of five children. The Rodgers and Jones ancestors were early settlers of Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania. Among their ancestors was Nehemiah Smith (1605- 1686) who helped settled Norwich, Connecticut. Descendants live in Indiana.

They had seven children. He died in 1741 in White Chapel Parish, Lancaster County, Virginia.
