Description
Thomas Frick (ca. 1717-ca. 1814) and his wife, Mary Rittheheimer, had four children, 1737-1754. The family emigrated from Switzerland and settled in Lexington County, South Carolina, ca. 1753. Their great grandson, John Frick (1807-1893), was born in Lexington County, South Carolina, the son of Thomas Frick (1769-1860). He married three times. He and his second wife, Jemima, had five children, 1829-1840. He died in Richland County, South Carolina....

Johann Andreas Ellinger was born in about 1754, probably in Saxony, Germany. His son, Johann Andreas Ellinger, was born 29 September 1783 in Bilzingsleben Saxony. He married Dorothea Sophia Hildenhagen (1783-1836) in 1806. He emigrated with his children in 1839 and settled in Illinois.

Georg Konrod Raab (1762-1823) moved to Durrenmungenau, Germany and married Anna Marie Berger. His grandson, John Wolfgang Raab (1824- 1890) married Marie Eva Grillenberger in 1849, and immigrated about 1853 to Fairfield County, Ohio. Descendants lived in Ohio, Missouri, Arizona and elsewhere.

John Augustin Rittgers was born December 2, 1767 in Prussia. He immigrated to America in about 1795 and settled in Virginia. He married Catharine Comer in 1797 and had nine children. The family later moved to Fairfield County, Ohio where John died in 1848. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Ohio, Iowa, Kansas and elsewhere.
