Claude Le Maitre or Delamater, was born in about 1611 in Richabourg, Artois, France. He married Louise Quennell (1617-1647), daughter of Anthoine Quennell and Marguerite Le Maistre, 29 October 1638 in Kent, England. They had three children. He married Jeanne De Lannoy 19 May 1648 in Middleborg, Holland. He married Hester Du Bois 24 April 1652 in Amsterdam. They emigrated in about 1652 and settled in New Amsterdam, where all six of their children...

Jan Eltinge (b. 1632) was born in Switchsaller and married Tacomintze Slecht. They were the parents of five children, one of whom was Roelif J. Elting (b. 1678) who married Sarah Du Bois and was the father of three children. Sarah Du Bois was the daughter of Solomon Du Bois (b. 1666) who was born in Pennsylvania and settled in New Paltz, New York. Descendants of Roelif and Sarah Elting live in the United States.

Wendel Sauerwein and his children from his first marriage emigrated from Spitzaltheim, Germany to St. Louis, Missouri in the early 1840s. They later moved to Burlington, Iowa. He married his second wife, Magdalen Leu Jacoby, and they had two children. He died in about 1850. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Iowa.

Louis Bevier, son of Louis Bevier and Esther Boutemy, was born in about 1646 in Hainaut, Wallonia, Belgium or possibly in Sweden or Russia. He married Marie Le Blanc in 1673 in Speyer, Germany. They had eight children. He died in about 1720 in New Paltz, New York. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Nebraska and Missouri.
