Until 1878 Prickwillow was a chapelry in Holy Trinity-Ely parish. It then became a parish in its own right. Log books were a daily or weekly diary of school events kept by the administrator, detailing visitors, speakers, etc., but not containing very many names or dates of genealogical value. Names of teachers, however, were usually given in the log books.
