Jesse Davis was born ca. 1775. He is believed to be the son of Henry Davis and Fanny (surname unknown). Jessie married Charity Hunt 6 March 1799 in Rowan County, North Carolina. Later, they moved and settled in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. They had seven known children. Jesse died ca. 1830. Descendants lived primarily in Kentucky.
