Johannes "Casper"Erb (1724-1801), a soldier in the Revolutionay War, was born in Würtenberg, Germany, and immigrated to America in 1754. He married Catharina Metzger (1732-1785) ca. 1756. They settled on a farm in Lower Pottsgrove township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. They had nine children, 1757-1773. Harry E. Sauder was born 2 November 1870. His parents were Samuel G. Sauder (1842-1925) and Elizabeth Eaby (1846-1927). He married Mary Catherine Erb (1875-1932), daughter of Jacob Erb (1835-1914) and Eliza Ann Shirk (1840-1922), 7 November 1895. They had fourteen children. Includes Martin, Weaver and related families. No localities are given.

Thomas Ganong was born about 1745, probably near Lake Mahopac, New York. He married Joanna Barlow (1749-1832) about 1774 in New York State. There were five children. Thomas died between March and July 1810.

He was a descendant of John Conrad Eckert (born 6 February 1740 in Langenselbold, Germany) who immigrated to America ca. 1770 and settled in the state of Pennsylvania. Ernst Miller (ca. 1740-1806) married Christina Veit in 1769, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They had two sons. Prior to 1800, Ernst married Elizabeth who had two daughters. They had one son, David, who married Ann Longenecker. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, for many generations, but eventually scattered throughout the United States. They include members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
