Thomas Calhoun, son of John Calhoun and Rebecca Ewing, was born in 1735 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. He married Rachel Peck (1754-1803), daughter of Abiel Peck and Ruth Skinner, in 1768. They had two children. He died in 1772 in Albert County, New Brunswick. Ancestors and relatives lived mainly in Ireland, Scotland, Pennsylvania and New Brunswick.

Ancestry and descendants of Joseph Aime Auguste Bunot (1828-1914), who was born in France and served in the French Army in Italy in 1848- 1850, going A.W.O.L. and escaping to Switzerland.
