George Washington Sanderson, son of Henry H. Sanderson, married Harriet Judge in 1871. Their son, John Henry Sanderson (1877-1957) married Emma Naomi Avard in 1900 in Oneida Castle, New York. They had four children. Includes histories of the Civil War service of George and his father and brothers. Includes Diebold, Ezell, Helmer and related families.

Daniel Malone was born in Ireland in about 1643. He immigrated to America in about 1655. In 1665 he was living in Virginia. He is believed to be the earliest Malone ancestor to settle in Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas and elsewhere.

Thomas and Patience Wester Joiner moved to Kentucky about 1800. Their descendants through a grandson, Iseral Joiner, are included in this book.

Dennis Hemby (1823-1897) was the son of James Hemby and Sarah Wells of Warren Co., Mississippi. His grandfather was Dennis Hemby of Anson Co., NC. Sarah Wells was the daughter of Absalom and Mary Wells of the Tombigbee River area in Alabama. Dennis married Leonora Lee Cain, the daughter of Rev. James Cain and Anna Johnson in 1845. Dennis was the great grandfather of Mildred Ezell. Several generations of descendants are given.
