Johann Seefeldt was born born 17 August 1793. His father was Gottlieb Seefeldt. He married Caroline Sophia Strege (1795-1870) in 1819 in Neu Sarnow, Germany. They had six children. Their son, August Friedrich Wilhelm Seefeldt (1822-1888) married Wilhelmine Thimm in 1846. They had six children. They emigrated in 1866 and settled in Brown County, Wisconsin. Karl Eduard (Charles Edward) Falk, born January 19, 1828, in Schmolsin, a small town on the Baltic-coast, Hinter Pomerania, about 50 miles N. W. from Danzig, Prussia; died 20 October 1916 at Nagpur, C. P. India. His family was born and raised in India. His grandson Clarence William Charles Falk later emigrated to New Zealand after India achieved independance.

Falck is Teutonic for falcon. The Falck family originated in Hesse Darmstadt. Johann Georg Falck (1793-1878) is the earliest known ancestor of the Falck family. His son, Philip Falck (1818-1889) was the first to come to America. In 1847 he married Catherine Hangen in Wisconsin and they were the parents of eleven children, all of whom were born and died in Wisconsin. Descendants live in Wisconsin and other north-central states.

Gertrud Kiefer Spaniol Fehr (d.1849) was the daughter of Michael Kiefer and Maria Elizabetha Koch of Buschfeld in Landkreis Saar Louis von Stadt Schlmelz, Saarland, Germany.
