Adolf Charles Schönwetter married Henriette Julianne Kaub in about 1838, probably in Prussia. They had four children. Henriette emigrated with her children in 1858 and settled in New York. James Henry Rickman was born 21 April 1828. He married Eliza Jane Faubion (1831-1910), daughter of John Faubion and Sarah Ann, in 1850 in Clay County, Missouri. They had ten children. He died in 1880 in Plum Grove, Kansas. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and California.
