George A. Feather (1761-1814) married Elizabeth Jacobs in 1785, and moved from Dutchess County to Renssalaer County, New York. Descendants spelled the surname as Feathers and lived in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Oregon, California and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.
