Captain Arthur Fenner (1617-1703) was born at Horley, Surrey, England, the son of Arthur and Sarah Browne Fenner. He was living at Providence, Rhode Island, by 1649. He married Mehitable Waterman. They had seven or eight children, 1652-1676. He married 2) Howlong Harris in 1684. Descendants listed lived in Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and elsewhere.
