Adam Fergusson, son of Neil Fergusson and Agnes Colquhoun, was born in 1783 in Perthshire, Scotland. He married Jemima Johnson Blair in 1812. They had eight children. He immigrated to Canada in 1833. He died in 1862 in Woodhill, Ontario.
