Jeremiah Mead, Jr. (1755-1831), son of Jeremiah Mead (1727-1815 and Amy Lockwood Mead (1734-1814), was born in Greenwich, Connecticut and died in Ohio. In about 1870 he married Esther Peck (1756-1819). They moved to Ohio in 1817 where Esther Peck Mead in Butler County in 1819.
