Three brothers, George Lybarger (d. 1788), Nicholas Lybarger (bef. 1755- 1808) and Ludwick Lybarger (bef. 1755-1827), migrated to Bedford County, Pennsylvania, in 1774 or earlier, from eastern Pennsylvania or Maryland. Their descendants listed lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and elsewhere. Includes the Bloom, Miller, and other related families.

Thomas Studwell (ca. 1600-1670) was probably from Seale, Kent County, England, and immigrated to America in 1635. He was among the settlers at Saybrook, Connecticut, moved to Rye, New York, ca. 1650, and in 1667 to Greenwich, Connecticut, where he died in 1670. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and elsewhere.
