John Martin, so of John Martin and Elizabeth, was born in about 1786. He married Mary Osborne, daughter of Daniel Osborne and Elizabeth Drew, in about 1788. He died in about 1788 in Laurens County, South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in South Carolina.

The families are interrelated. Alexander Power, Sr., born 1752 in Ireland; died after 1810 in Laurens Co., SC. He married Sarah "Sally" Moore about 1745-50 in Maryland (perhaps). Sarah died after 1810 and was buried at Warrior Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurens Co., SC.

Daniel Alexander (ca.1760-1850), probably of Scotch-Irish lineage, with his wife Mary and their children moved before 1790 from Virginia to Rockingham County, North Carolina. By 1800 they had moved to Pendleton District, South Carolina, which became Pickens County, South Carolina before 1850. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Texas and elsewhere.

John Finley (1757-1804) was born in Ireland. He married Nancy Ellen and they immigrated to America. John died in Guilford County, North Carolina and Nancy died in 1844 in Warren County, Tennessee.
