William Fiske married Bridget Muskett in Pelham, England and immigrated to Massachusetts, settling in Wenham where he died in 1654. He was a descendant of Robert (died 1602) and Sybil Fiske. Descendants lived in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, and elsewhere.

Ambrose Daniel Gring was born in Pennsylvania in 1849. He came from a family of ministers and about 1890 he and his wife Hattie L. Gring began a missionary journey to Japan. For the next 25 years he spent most of his time in Japan. In 1915 he began a second family that were not old when he died in 1934. John Tyer was born 9 February 1820 at Hackney, Middlesex, England. He married Harriet Franklin 15 May 1841 in England. They immigrated to the United States in the latter part of the year 1841 and lived in Brunswick, New Jersey. In the year 1855, they moved to Dallas County, Iowa and settled in the town of Adel.
