Robert Edward Flanders was born 28 September 1880 in Barnet, Vermont. His parents were Albert Wellington Flanders and Mary Lizzie Gilfillan. His grandparents were Hiram Flanders and Mary Alexander Compton. He married Helen Hartness in about 1911 and they had three children, Elizabeth, Nancy and James. He was a United States senator from Vermont from 1946 to 1948.

Timothy Huchinson (fl.1710-1759) lived in Hampton Falls and Kensington, New Hampshire. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, New Jersey and elsewhere.

Bartholomew Heath (1615-1681) was born in England and immigrated to America in 1632. He settled first in Newbury, Massachusetts and then in Haverhill. In about 1640 he married Hannah Moyce (1618-1677) and they were the parents of eight children. Descendants moved to Vermont, New Hampshire, Illinois and other parts of the United States, as well as parts of eastern Canada.

Charles Louis Hequembourg (1759-1851) immigrated from France to New Haven, Connecticut, later moving to Paterson, New Jersey. Descendants lived in New England, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and elsewhere. Includes some ancestors in France.

John Sherard (1737-1810), and a brother and family, emigrated from Ireland or England to Hunterdon County, New Jersey during or before 1765. Samuel Sherard Sr. (d.1833), a son of the brother, was born en route, lived in Sussex County, New Jersey, married Elizabeth Holley in 1784, and moved to Butler County, Ohio and in 1832 to Clinton County, Indiana. Isaac Lamb (d.1723) emigrated from England to New London, Connecticut about 1695/1696. Robert Savory (d.1690) immigrated in 1634 from England to Ipswich, Massachusetts, moving in 1670 to Bradford, Massachusetts. Leonard Harriman (1622?-1691) and his brother, John (d.1681), immigrated about 1638 from England to Rowley, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England and elsewhere.

William Beardsley (1605-1661) was born at Stratford, Warsaw, England, son of William Beardsley. He married Mary Harvie 1631/32 at Ilkeston, Derby, England. Both died at Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut. One daughter, Rebecca (1650-1739), married Israel Curtiss, son of John and Elizabeth Curtis. Descendants lived in Connecticut, Vermont, New York, Missouri, Idaho, Utah, and elsewhere.

Samuel Shattuck was born around 1594 in England. He married Damaris Sibley and they had 6 children. His family immigrated to Massachusetts before 1650. His death date is unknown but his wife did marry again to Thomas Gardner. Damaris died in 1674 in Massachusetts. Descendants lived in Massachusetts, Vermont, New York, Iowa, Missouri, Utah, and elsewhere.
