John Flinn, son of Edmond, was born in about 1600 in Ulster, Ireland. He emigrated and settled in York County, VIrginia. He died in 1647. His grandson, Laughlin Flinn, was born in about 1679 in Ireland. He emigrated in 1718 and settled in Lunenberg County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Georgia.

Thomas Marion Harp (1798-1850) was born in North Carolina. He married Prudence Masioner in Overton County, Tennessee, in 1820. They moved to Rhea County, Tennessee, soon after their marriage. They had fourteen children, 1821-1847. The family migrated to Marshall County, Mississippi, in 1838. He is buried in the Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery in Marshall County. Valentine Muller was born 2 August 1836 in Bavaria, Germany. In 1847, he and his siblings immigrated to America and settled in Kylertown, Pennsylvania. In 1865, Valentine migrated to Delaware County, Iowa. He married Anna May Schumacher in 1868. They had seven children, Valentine died in 1887. Descendants and relatives lived in Iowa, Oklahoma, Nebraska and elsewhere.

Jean Baptiste Boisseaux, a Huguenot, immigrated from France to the United States to fight in the French Army under General Lafayette in the American Revolutionary War. He settled afterwards in Pennsylvania, married Barbara Frick, and later moved to land in Wood County, Virginia (now West Virginia), where he died after 1834.
