Gellis Douw Fonda was born in about 1614. His father was Douw Fonda. He married Hester Jans. They had three children. They emigrated in about 1651 and settled in Fort Orange, New York. Their son, Douw (1641-1700), married Rebecca Conyn and they had nine children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York. Includes Webster and related families.
