Description
William Mackley (ca. 1769-1835) died in St. Gregory, Norwich, England. His descendant, James Goodwin Mackley (1843-1887), was born in Norwich, England and married Charlotte Martha Holmes Worsdale. He came to Utah in 1882 and later died in Spanish Fork. Descendants lived in Utah, Idaho, and elsewhere.

Daniel Forbush (ca. 1620-1687) is believed to have emigrated from Kinellar parish, Aberdeenshire, Kyle, Scotland. He married Rebecca Perriman on March 26, 1660 at Cambridge, Middlesex, Massachusetts. Some descendants became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the 1830's. Descendants and relatives lived in Massachusetts, Utah, Idaho, California and elsewhere.

John Alma Vance, son of Isaac Young Vance (1818-1898) and Martha Eleanor Yager and grandson of John Vance and Sarah Lavinia Perkins, was born in 1847 in Winter Quarters, Nebraska. He married Maria Forbush in 1869 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He died in 1886 in Fairview, Utah. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina and Utah.

Hyrum Smith Washburn (1853-1924) was a descendant of William Washburn, of Connecticut and of Long Island, N. Y. William's son Abraham married Tamar Tompkins in 1824 in N. Y. before joining the L.D.S. Deacon Edmund Rice (ca. 1594-1663) came from Barkhamstead, Hertfordshire, England and settled in Sudbury, Massachusetts in 1638 or 1639. He married Tamazine (d. 1654) and they had twelve children. He married Mercie (Hunt?) Brigham, widow of Thomas Brigham, in 1655 and had five more children. Descendants lived in New England, Iowa, Georgia, New York, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and elsewhere.
