Robert Forman (1617-1672) was born in England and immigrated to America in about 1640. In 1645 he helped found the town of Flushing on Long Island in what became the state of New York. He was the father of three sons. His descendants live throughout the United States and in Canada.

Nephi Forman was born in Utah in 1871. His parents were early converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married Sarah Amanda Nilsson and they were the parents of eleven children. The family settled in Southeastern Idaho. Information on their ancestral lines, which came out of Scotland and Sweden, is given in this material.
