James Watson I (1746-1800), of Scottish lineage, immigrated from Ireland to Franklin County, Pennsylvania in 1764, moving later to Cumberland County and then to Washington County, Pennsylvania. He sarved in the Revolutionary War and married twice. Andrew and George were grandsons of James Watson I and sons of Robert. James II was a son of James I. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio and elswewhere.
