Abraham Ebersole married Eve Stauffer (b. April 12, 1751) and lived in Lancaster and Dauphin Counties in Pennsylvania. They were the parents of twelve children. Abraham died about 1819. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Washington, Oregon and elsewhere.

Family History and descendants of Johann Christoph Fuerchtenicht born in Germany (around Hanover) abt. 1775. He married Marie Elizabeth Lenz abt. 1805. Their son Heinrich Wilhem Fuerchtenicht was born 1807 in Hanover and he married Caroline Henriette Wedekind in April 1834. A month later they immigrated to the United States where they settled in the area of Wheeling, Virginia. Their last name was changed to Fortney by the 3rd generation in America....

Charles Richard, a soldier in the Revolutionary War, was born in 1755 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Stough (1757- 1826) in Berks County in 1774. They had eight children, 1781-1804. The family lived in Berks, Dauphin, Cumberland, Franklin, and Westmoreland Counties, Pennsylvania. He died in Westmoreland County in 1852. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and elsewhere.
