Christopher Foster (1603-1687) married Frances Stevens in 1628, and immigrated from England to Lynn, Massachusetts in 1635. They moved to Long Island, New York in 1642. Their descendant of the eighth generation, Josiah Albertson Foster (1831-1909), was born near Pyrmont, Ohio, the son of Issac Preston Foster (1797-1875). He married Elizabeth R.
