Thomas Harris (b.ca1571) was born at Hatherop, Gloucester, England. His parents were William Harris and (2) Agnes Mason, daughter of Henry Mason of Cheltenham. He married Elizabeth Hills (b.ca1577-1670) in 1606 in England. She married (2) William Stilson. They emigrated and Thomas operated the ferry between Winnisimmet and Charlestown, They were the parents of six children. Several generations of descendants are given.

Thomas Crockett (1610-1678) was the probable son of Thomas and Ann Crockett of Stoke Gabriel, County Devon, England. He emigrated to the colonies probably in 1631 as a servant to Captain James Mason, owner of the Piscataqua Plantation.
