Christopher Reynolds was born circa 1530 in County Kent, England. His grandson William Reynolds, born circa 1606 in Kent County, England and his wife Margaret Exton Reynolds emigrated to America and settled in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Descendants include South Carolina U.S. Senator James Strom Thurmond, born 8 December 1902, who was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1954 and has served a long and distinguished carreer in government service. ...

Sands Stanley was born before 1741. He married Zilpha Edwards, ca. 1759, in Dobbs (now Craven) County, North Carolina. All their children were born there. The family moved about 7 miles west of Darlington, Cheraw District, South Carolina. Sands died on 19 Nov. 1799. Thomas Nash was born in England. He lived in Lincolnshire, England and immigrated to America in the year 1637 with his wife, Margery Baker, and five children. They settled in New Haven, Connecticut. Thomas died in the year 1657. Descendants lived in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Missouri, Virginia, Michigan and elsewhere.

Ira Johnson (b.1753), son of Jonathan Johnson and Jerusha Green and a direct descendant in the sixth generation of immigrant John Johnson, served in the Revolutionary War, married Abigail Furbish in 1784, and possibly died in New York. Descendants lived in New York, Illinois, Kansas, California, Oregon, Washington and elsewhere. Includes ancestors of immigrant John Johnson to 1490 in England.

John Orrell, Sr. married Mary Hunt in about 1708. They had eight children and lived in Maryland. Descendants and relatives lived in Maryland, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas and elsewhere.

John Wright was born 12 August 1744 in New Haven, Connecticut. He married Ruth Robinson, daughter of Dan Robinson and Abigail Curtis, 7 October 1768 in Granville, Massachusetts. They had nine children. He fought in the American Revolution. He died 8 November 1805 in Catskill, New York. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

William S. Foster was born in 1818 in Ohio. He married Jane Cruzan (1826-1890), daughter of Lemuel Cruzan and Isabelle Simpson, in 1842. They had nine children. He died in 1901 in Cedar Mills, Ohio.
