William Brinton (ca.1630-1700) married Ann Bagley and, as Quakers, they immigrated in 1684 from England to Grubbs Landing along the Delaware in New Castle County, Pennsylvania. They settled back in the woods 12 miles from the Delaware River. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma and elsewhere.

Description
Thomas Lancaster was born in about 1702 and immigrated to America in 1711 or 1712. He settled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he married Phebe Wardell, daughter of John Wardell, in 1725. They had thirteen children, 1726-1748. The family lived at Wrightstown, Pennsylvania, until about 1740 when they moved to Richland Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He died in 1750. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and elsewhere.
