Jonah Freidin (ca.1855-ca.1903), son of Aharon Friedin (b.ca.1820), married Laskeh Helig, and after his death, the widow and her family immigrated in 1904 from Russia to join her brother in New Jersey. Descendants lived in New Jersey, New York and elsewhere. Other descendants of Aharon immigrated (usually about the turn of the century) to Palastine (now Israel), and many descendants are listed.
