Moses Fried (1860-1942), the eldest child of Jacob Fried (1830-1875) and a grandson of Sholom Fried (b.ca.1800), immigrated four times from Poland to New York City between 1882 and 1932, and became a U.S. citizen in 1905 during his second visit. Most of his children and some of his relatives also immigrated.

Hans Fried (1807-1874) married Margreth Lietha in 1842, and immigrated from Switzerland to land near Fountain City, Wisconsin in 1856. Descendants lived in Wisconsin, other midwestern states, Colorado, Montana, California and elsewhere.

Jonah Freidin (ca.1855-ca.1903), son of Aharon Friedin (b.ca.1820), married Laskeh Helig, and after his death, the widow and her family immigrated in 1904 from Russia to join her brother in New Jersey. Descendants lived in New Jersey, New York and elsewhere. Other descendants of Aharon immigrated (usually about the turn of the century) to Palastine (now Israel), and many descendants are listed.
