John Jacob Byerly (d. ca. 1771) and his family, emigrated from the Palatinate of Germany, ca. 1750 and settled first in Pennsylvania, then followed the German migration to North Carolina. He and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, had at least six children, ca. 1745-before 1760. John Jacob and Mary Elizabeth Byerly are buried at the Beck's Church Cemetry, Rowan County, North Carolina. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Illinois, Indiana and elsewhere.

He was naturalized in Vanderburgh County, Indiana, in 1854 and migrated to to Elmont, Kansas, before 1857. Mary Ann Mathews (1837-1920) was born at Talcott or Hinton, West Virginia and migrated to Kansas with her father in 1855. Joseph J. and Mary Ann were married in Shawnee County, Kansas, in 1857. Julius Dugger was born in Virginia on 9 September 1760 and was married to Mary Hall of Rockbridge County, Virginia about 1779. They migrated first to Wilkes County, North Carolina, then west to the Watauga river, settling in an area that later became Johnson County, Tennessee. Their son John (b. 1780) married Mary Engle (b. 1785). They had twenty children. Includes descendants in chiefly in Tennessee.

Johannes Creveling was born 6 June 1706 in Germany. He married Eva Christine or Christiana Loecher, daughter of Johann Adam Loecher and Juliana Maria Sayn, 12 September 1737 in Maxsain, Westerwald. They had twelve children. They immigrated to America in about 1744 and settled in New Jersey. Johannes died in 1782 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
