Charles L. Youngblood was born in 1826 in Anderson Township, Warrick County, Indiana. He migrated to Kansas City in 1865, but not liking the village, went back to Missouri, purchased a farm and remained there until 1872. He then migrated to Colorado; stayed for awhile; returned to Missouri for six months; and then migrated to Kansas. Frederick Jackson Turner was born 14 November 1861 in Portage, Wisconsin, His parents were Andrew Jackson Turner (1838-1906) and Mary Hanford (1832-1905). He married Caroline Mae Sherwood in 1889 in Chicago. He died in 1932 in California.
