Description
James A. Dickson (ca. 1820-1864) was born in Tennessee and by 1842 was living in Texas. Having married three times, his first son was born in Titus Co., Texas. He fought and was killed in the Civil War in 1864. Descendants lived primarily in Texas, Oklahoma and elsewhere.

Biography of Barbara Ann Fulbright Eddleman who was born 18 August 1885 in Daisy, Missouri. She was the daughter of Jacob J. Fulbright and Nancy Elizabeth Smith. Barbara married Christopher C. Eddleman 1 January 1905. She was the mother of eleven children and died 6 April 1960 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Descendants lived in Missouri and elsewhere.

Johan Wilhelm Volprecht (1717-1808) was born in Edelak, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. He immigrated to America at the age of twenty five. He was indentured in Northampton Co., Pa., and naturalized in 1762, and moved to the Yadkin Valley of North Carolina. He met and married Christiannah Hallstead, the daughter of Timothy Hallstead, Jr., a Long Island merchant and an international trader.
