William Henry Gallagher, son of William Henry (possibly Thomas?) Gallagher and Kathleen Mavourneen Coulter, was born in 1856 in Montreal, Quebec. He married Francesca Amelia Thomas, in 1879 in Gouvernour, New York. They had fourteen children. He died in 1909. Francesca died in 1918 in Banff, Alberta.

Hugh Gallagher was born about 1804 in Donegal, Ireland. He married Catharine Cannon, ca. 1847. She was born in 1822, also in Ireland. Hugh died at Throoptown, Ontario, Canada on 14 Apr. 1880. Catharine died at Ogdensburg, New York; buried in Throoptown. They had the following children: William, James, George, Edward, Mary Ann, Margaret Ellen & Kathryn Theresa.

They moved in 1780 or 1781 to the Watauga settlement in western North Carolina (later became Washington County, Tennessee). William Howe Gilling (1827-1908) was born in Tinsley, Yorkshire, England to Benjamin and Anne Gilling. In 1845 he enlisted in the British Army and traveled to New Zealand and settled there after his discharge. He became a whaler by trade and married a young Maori woman named Whawhai Pataua. They were the parents of seven children. Descendants live in New Zealand.

John F. Miller, born October 11, 1832 in Sachsen (Saxony), Germany. He married in Connersville, Fayette County, Indiana to Sarah (Fritch) Smullin on 26 April 1857. He died 26 January 1913 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sarah previously wed William McKenny Smullin on 6 August 1851. Sarah and William had one son, Albert J., born in 1854, who adopted the Miller name after his mother and John F. Miller married. The couple had four additional children.

Moses Hayden (1811-1873) was born on the Hayden farm in Day Township, Saratoga County, New York, the son of Moses and Molly Boyd Hayden. He migrated to Washtenaw County, Michigan, ca. 1833. He married Polly Johnson (d. ca. 1842), daughter of Luke Johnson. They probably had four children, 1835-1842. Moses Hayden married 2) Patty Maria Johnson Wylie (1807-1899), sister of Polly and a widow with four children, in 1843. They had three children, 1845-1849....
