George Gardiner (1599-1667) was born in Greenfield Magna, Middlesex, England. He married three times and was the father of eleven children. In 1637 George and his family immigrated to America, settling first in Boston and later moving to Rhode Island. Descendants live in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, New York and other parts of the United States.

Thomas Gardiner was born ca. 1765 in Kentucky. He and his wife, Elizabeth, moved to Ohio before 1810. Their daughter, Arlinda (1790-1855), married Abraham Thomas in Ross County, Ohio in 1810. Thomas (1794-1873), their son, moved to Middletown, Indiana and then in 1832, moved to Farmer City, Illinois. Another child, Nancy Gardiner, married Samuel Parker in Pike County, Ohio in 1820.

Ralph Allen of Leicester, England, and his son, George Allen and his family, were living at Lynn, Massachusetts, by 1636. They moved to Sandwich, Plymouth Colony. George Allen and his wife, Catherine Collins, had ten children, ca. 1619-1643. George died in 1648. Descendants listed lived in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and elsewhere.
Includes the Conkling, Gardiner, and other connected families.

Mary Estey (b. 1797) was born in Westmoreland, Cheshire Co., N.H. She was the daughter of Steward Estly and Mary (Polly) Brown. The earliest ancestor is Wm. De Bere, Baliff of Dover in 1275. She married Miles Aldrich.
