John Garner (1732-ca. 1825) was christened in Pillerton Priors, Warwickshire, England. He married Mary Lovet (b. 1734) in 1756. John and two sons immigrated to North America ca. 1777. John is buried at Green's Corners, Welland County, Ontario. Includes a descendancy chart with 605 descendants.

Rebecca Garner (1807-1871), daughter of James Garner and Mary Moon, married Samuel Clark in 1827 in Ohio. They had thirteen children. They migrated to Utah in 1848. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Virginia and Ohio. English ancestors spelled thier name Gardiner.
