Jean Poinsett (d. 1739), son of Pierre and Marie Poinsett of Soubise, France, settled in New Jersey ca. 1681. Descendants lived in New Jersey, New York, and elsewhere.

John Stephens was born ca. 1735 in England. He immigrated to America sometime prior to his marriage to his first wife (Lucretia Gaskill) ca. 1760. Lucretia died in the year 1785 and John married Fanny Brock ca. 1786. John lived his life in New Jersey and was the father of seven children. Descendants lived in New Jersey, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and elsewhere.

George Aldrich married Katherine Seald in Derbyshire, England on 3 September 1629. They immigrated to Dorchester, Massachusetts in 1631. Their descendants are traced for thirteen generations, following their migrations to Ohio, Indiana, North Dakota and, finally, Washington state. Includes primarily the direct line of descent to the author, Harl Preslar Aldrich.

They had 6 children. Tabitha died 11 Jan 1869 in Lawrence County, Missouri. Stephen married again on 28 Feb 1869 to Saphronia Rouk Smith. They also had 6 children. Ruth Mary Gaskell (1918- ) was born in Bemis, Tennessee, the daughter of Charles James Gaskell and Ruth Mary Symonds. She was descended on her father's side from Edward and Sarah Gascoyne, who settled in Salem, Massachusetts, in 1636; and on her mother's side from Robert Symonds and Tamson Walden, who lived in Wenham, Massachusetts, before 1678. The histories of both lines are included.

John and Thomas Budd, son of Thomas Budd, emigrated from England to New Haven, Connecticut. John later moved to Southold, Long Island and then to Rye, New York, and then to Burlington, New Jersey. Descendants lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana and elsewhere.

Nathaniel Mowry (1644-1718) immigrated from England (possibly via Massachusetts) to Sayle's Hill, Rhode Island during or before 1668. Richard Mowry (1749-1835), direct descendant in the fifth generation, married twice and lived in Scituate, Rhode Island and Uxbridge, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, California and elsewhere.

Aaron Gaskill was born 14 June 1759. He married Edith in about 1782. They had eleven children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ohio and Iowa.
